ABOUT

I became obsessed with cars in 1979 at the age of seven. In the 42 years since, the obsession has extended to motorcycles, airplanes and really, anything that is mechanical. I learned how to use a 35mm film camera in high school and became fascinated to photography while I was in the Marine Corps. There, I mostly photographed tanks, light armored vehicles, helicopters and the occasional person, oftentimes while deployed to a combat zone. I am a self-trained photographer who has been mentored by several accomplished photographers and continues to be so, even today.

The purpose of this blog is to document and discuss my adventures photographing machines. Well, mostly machines. I hope you enjoy it, as I do love to share, motivate and inspire others.
