My First Singer Porsche

I first learned of Singer Porsche four or five years ago. I think I saw a video of a finished Singer and I was just stunned by the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into the car. There are many tuners and modifiers of Porsches and I think that most of them add very little to the brand. Bisimoto, for example, does amazing things that enhance "Porscheness" (did I just make up a work?) of Porsches, as does Kaege and Emory, but there are others (who shall remain nameless) who just murder these poor Porsche 911s. In a perfect world, there would be a law against that, but we live in an imperfect world. Still, perfect things do exist, such as Singer Porsches.

I ran across this one while exiting the Planes Of Fame Air Museum in Chino, CA. It was parked in the lot while the owner was inside the museum. The available sunlight was far from ideal, but sometimes you have to work with the cards you're dealt, especially when the subject matter is this rare and this good. I later found the owner and we had a nice email exchange. I'd love to photograph this again and think that it would make sense to email him soon.
